You do not look like me and most important think like me

I think we need to be honest about the culture divide. It is not race. I do not know of anyone who believes that race makes a person more or less of value, better/worse, or sub-human. Not A Single One. So lets get past that. Why? Because there are numerous laws on the books that IF a person did discriminate against someone out of hatred for their race they can be prosecuted. You deal with it at the level it is happening. You do not generalize it out to everyone who looks like the perp.

I am not saying that there are not people who have been or are racist. What I am saying is that it is inherently racist to say that people are racist based on their skin color rather than their actions. Because folks, racism is not specific to Caucasians.

When we use the term loosely and frequently, we diminish it’s impact. Its like water down a drink. Not much of a buzz when the alcohol has been diluted. Also, we use the word racism when it is a person’s actions we do not like and actions are not a result of skin tone. And for those that see racism everywhere, take a moment and realize your brain is designed to generalize things in to categories because it cannot hold every detail of every sensory experience as unique. So just describing someone by their race is not racist, it is expedient.

More later on culture being misidentified as race and how off base that is.
